Piquet takes pole as Hamilton spins

And with runaway championship leader Lewis Hamilton starting from dead last after his second spin in as many sessions at the Hungaroring, another enthralling GP2 encounter is on the cards.

Piquet was in stunning form, snatching the pole by well over half a second. Jose Maria Lopez showed Super Nova's return to form with second on the grid.

Another team that have struggled of late are Arden, but third on the grid for Michael Ammermuller was a welcome return to the sharp end in qualifying. Adam Carroll did a good job - despite a spin - to take fourth.

Alex Premat was fifth quickest but has to face a 10-place grid penalty following his actions last time out in Germany.

Lucas di Grassi also loses his best time after he took the chequered flag twice in this morning's free practice session.
