Hamilton Clinches Title

Although the ASM star was made to work hard for the win by Mucke's teenage star Sebastian Vettel, the title was effectively Hamilton's after teammate Adrian Sutil spun out of second place on the final corner of the opening lap.

Sutil dropped to the back of the pack, ensuring that Hamilton would have the necessary points cushion to take the championship, despite a quick spin along the way.

Vettel chased home Hamilton after snatching third place from the fast-starting Giedo van der Garde with a brave move around the outside of turn one. With Lucas di Grassi forced to concede second place after picking up a drive-through penalty for jumping the start, it was left to Vettel to take the fight to the champion-elect.

Van der Garde clung onto third for Team Rosberg ahead of yesterday's winner Guillaume Moreau (Signature) and Paul di Resta (Manor).

Franck Perera and Prema teammate Greg Franchi were sixth and seventh after a race-long fight, while the final point went to Vettel's teammate Atila Abreu.
