Video: Behind the scenes at Gamble's Award McLaren Formula 1 test

The 2018 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner Tom Gamble recently got his first taste of Formula 1 in his prize test with McLaren.

We went behind the scenes at the test to get the 17-year-old's thoughts before and after the career-changing moment of his first laps in F1 machinery.

We also got McLaren's verdict on how Gamble had got on and what it looks for in young drivers, as well as reflecting on three decades of Award collaboration between Autosport, McLaren and the British Racing Drivers' Club and the British stars the process has helped.
