Autosport Awards: Voting for Racing Car of the Year category opens
The leading cars from four of the top international championships are vying for the 2019 Autosport Awards' Racing Car of the Year category, presented by Pirelli
Autosport Awards
The Autosport Awards are a series of awards presented by motor racing magazine Autosport to drivers that have achieved significant milestones each season. Some of the presentations are selected by the general public via a reader's poll.
The Mercedes Formula 1 team has already wrapped up a sixth successive F1 constructors' championship crown and is trying to match that honour at the Autosport Awards with its F1 W10.
Its rivals come from the touring car and electric racing worlds.
Audi utterly dominated the first year of the DTM's new Class One regulations, its RS5 DTM overcoming the reliability concerns that hamstrung main rival BMW and the new Aston Martin from R-Motorsport to wrap up every title on offer.

But while BMW was defeated in Germany, it was supreme in Britain - WSR's new 330i MSport for the British Touring Car Championship virtually dominated a series where the competition is usually far too close to allow such form.
The other contender is the DS E-Tense FE19 behind Jean-Eric Vergne's charge to a second straight Formula E title.
As the competition and level of manufacturer involvement in FE gets ever stronger, DS thrust its man to the front of an unpredictable championship fight in the first year of its new partnership with Techeetah.
