At its last outing at Assen, W Series ran a non-championship experimental reversed-grid race in addition to its usual Saturday race.
The reversed-grid race was won by Megan Gilkes, who came across the line to take her first victory by a margin of just 0.003 seconds over Alice Powell, who had started from 17th on the grid due to her championship position.
The reversed championship order put points leader Jamie Chadwick at the rear of the pack, meaning she had to fight her way through the field to eighth place.
Powell and Chadwick join Nicki Shields to give their first-hand accounts of a reversed-grid race.
