Video: F1 Verstappen/Leclerc verdict can redefine acceptable racing

Formula 1 faced a penalty decision controversy for the third time in as many grands prix in Austria, but the Max Verstappen/Charles Leclerc incident had a different outcome.

After rulings such as the punishment that cost Sebastian Vettel Canadian GP victory left F1 drivers raging against over-zealous rule enforcement, and apparent contradictions of the 'let them race' ethos the championship was supposed to be adopting, Verstappen avoiding a penalty for his move on Leclerc appeared to change the picture.

Edd Straw and Scott Mitchell discuss what that outcome means for the rest of the season and how drivers tackle wheel-to-wheel situations, whether the goalposts have now been moved in a good way and if there are ever circumstances when 'the good of the sport' should factor into penalty deliberations.
