January 3 Autosport magazine issue delayed in some areas after fire

January 3 Autosport magazine cover

The January 3 issue of Autosport magazine's arrival on news stands will be delayed in some parts of the United Kingdom due to a fire.

A blaze on the industrial estate in Wolverhampton where Autosport magazine is printed by William Gibbon during the early hours of January 1 required the attendance of over 70 firefighters.

Though thankfully nobody was hurt in the incident, road closures were in place while firefighters and structural engineers gauged safety before granting access.

Copies have now been picked up and will be in shops late on Thursday or first thing on Friday morning. Subscriber copies will not be affected.

The affected postcodes where copies will potentially be late on sale are:

CO, IP, NR, BR, CR, DA, E, EC, EN, HA, IG, KT, N, NW, RH, RM, SE, SM, SW, TW, UB, WC, WD, AL, BN, CM, CT, GU, HP, LU, ME, OX, PO, RG, SG, SL, SO, SS, TN, BH, DT, SN, SP

The new issue of Autosport magazine features an extensive interview with Robert Kubica on his Formula 1 return, a rundown of Michael Schumacher's greatest wins to mark his 50th birthday, a comprehensive preview of Autosport International 2019 and much more.
