Ex-Formula 1 racer Roberto Merhi will return to Formula 2 for the Abu Dhabi season finale with Rapax.
Merhi took part in his home F2 round at Barcelona in May as a one-off with Campos before joining Rapax for the Spa and Monza races.
He was replaced by World Series Formula V8 3.5 frontrunner Rene Binder for the last event at Jerez, but has been recalled for Yas Marina next weekend.
Merhi has taken points finishes in three of his four races with Rapax so far, with fifth place in the Monza sprint his best result yet.
He had not appeared in F2/GP2 prior to this season, having graduated to his Manor F1 drive via what was then called Formula Renault 3.5.
Abu Dhabi will mark the final round for Rapax in F2, as it, along with Russian Time, will leave the series next year.
Merhi's other post-F1 outings have been with Manor's World Endurance Championship LMP2 programme, where he contested a part-season in 2016 and made a one-off appearance at the Nurburgring this year.
