Video: Sebastien Ogier explains 'scary' Finland WRC testing crash

Sebastien Ogier WRC 2017

Sebastien Ogier says he "couldn't do anything" to prevent the big crash he had during M-Sport's pre-event test for Rally Finland.

The reigning World Rally champion crashed heavily after hitting a rock that had been dragged into the road on a previous pass of the stage, which ended the test early.

"I had a big crash last week, but I can see the car is strong," Ogier told Autosport.

"It's always better to not have a crash, but I couldn't do anything.

"There was a rock on the road and that broke my steering or suspension - I couldn't turn the car anymore and went straight into the forest.

"That's always a bit scary, but it doesn't affect my confidence. I start here flat out."
