Lotterer keeps Porsche in the lead after 14 hours of Le Mans

Porsche continues to hold a clear lead in the Le Mans 24 Hours

The only LMP1 car not to encounter problems, the #1 Porsche 919 Hybrid shared by Neel Jani, Andre Lotterer and Nick Tandy, holds an advantage of 10 laps over the second-placed LMP2 class Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA-Gibson 07.

Lotterer is still at the wheel of the Porsche and lapping up to five or six seconds slower than the recovering #2 car.

Brendon Hartley is at the wheel of the second Porsche and has moved up to 14th place as he strives to make up the time lost to a change of motor generator unit early in the race.

The #8 Toyota, another car to undergo an MGU change, is up to 30th position, albeit 28 laps down on the leading Porsche.

JARVIS GETS BACK IN SYNCH IN LMP2

Oliver Jarvis continues to lead the LMP2 class in the #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA having moved up to third place in the previous hour.

Jarvis leads the #13 Rebellion ORECA of David Heinemeier Hansson, and significantly has got back on synch with that car by stopping at the same time on lap 195.

This was because a slow zone was in action, and after staying ahead Jarvis was able to extend his lead.

The #38 ORECA took fresh rubber at that stop, while the #31 Rebellion did not until the stop 10 laps later, during which Nelson Piquet took over.

This resulted in Jarvis's lead being extended to over a minute.

The #31 Rebellion ORECA, delayed in the last hour, is third ahead of the #35 Signatech ORECA of Pierre Ragues.

ASTON LEADS IN GTE PRO

The two factory Aston Martins lead the GTE Pro class order on the 14-hour mark.

Nicki Thiim holds an advantage of 24 seconds over team-mate Darren Turner, but both are due pitstops.

Alessandro Pier Guidi had been right with Turner before pitting shortly before the top of the hour and dropping to fifth.

Richard Lietz holds third place in the #91 Porsche 911 RSR. The British JMW Ferrari team leads the way in GTE AM.

Will Stevens holds a lead of over lap from the #55 Spirit of Race Ferrari with Arron Scott at the wheel.
