Conor Daly, Jon Lancaster and Axcil Jefferies complete GP2 field

GP2 race winner Jon Lancaster, series returnee Conor Daly and sometime Formula 2 driver Axcil Jefferies have secured the final seats on the GP2 grid for this weekend's Bahrain season-opener

All three will drive for the teams with which they tested last month, with Lancaster staying on at MP, Daly lining up with Lazarus and Jefferies getting the second Trident drive.

Lancaster told AUTOSPORT after topping Sakhir testing that both he and MP were keen for him to partner Daniel de Jong this year.

Briton Lancaster took two victories with Hilmer last season.

Daly made a one-off appearance with Hilmer in the 2013 Sepang event before focusing on GP3, in which he finished third.

The American, son of former Formula 1 driver Derek Daly, also contested last year's Indianapolis 500 with AJ Foyt Racing.

Daly will join Nathanael Berthon at the Lazarus team.

Zimbabwean 19-year-old Jefferies last raced full-time in the 2012 F2 series, before making two Indy Lights appearances last season.

He completes the Trident line-up alongside race winner Johnny Cecotto Jr.
