Sebastien Bourdais stays on top in Sebring USC test
The Action Express Daytona Prototype team and Sebastien Bourdais topped the timesheets for a second day at the official United SportsCar Championship test at Sebring
Bourdais was fastest on Friday, the final day of the two-day test ahead of next month's Sebring 12 Hours, with a best lap of 1m52.488s aboard his Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP.
That was just 0.008s slower than his overall fastest lap of the test set late on Friday.
The best of the LMP2s, OAK Racing's Morgan-Nissan shared by Olivier Pla, Alex Brundle and Gustavo Yacaman, was again second in the times.
Its Friday best was a 1m53.230s, which was three tenths slower than its fastest lap of the test set on Thursday morning.
Bourdais, who won last month's season-opening Daytona 24 Hours with Action Express team-mates Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi, said: "The car was not quite as good as yesterday, traffic was challenging and the wind was not predictable."
The Porsche squad again led the way in the GT Le Mans class, its pair of CORE Autosport-run 911 RSRs ending up fastest in all four sessions.
Frenchman Patrick Pilet set the best GTLM time of the test late on Friday with a 1m59.395s lap.
That put him half a second clear of the sister car shared by Jorg Bergmeister, Patrick Long and Michael Christensen.
The Chevrolet Corvette C7.R driven by Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia was third fastest on Friday, but the time was a tenth slower than the mark set by Marc Goossens in Chrysler's SRT Viper GTS-R on Thursday.
The one-make Prototype Challenge class for the ORECA-Chevrolet FLM09 was again led by 8Star Motorsports driver Tom Kimber-Smith.
Kevin Estre ended up fastest in GT Daytona aboard his Park Place Porsche 911 GT America.
