Motegi MotoGP: warm-up length increased amid weather disruptions

MotoGP's Sunday morning warm-up session will be increased in length to add more running amid the Motegi weekend's weather disruptions.

A combination of fog and downpours meant there was no running at all throughout Friday and Saturday morning.

Instead the three grand prix classes went straight into elongated qualifying sessions.

MotoGP announced on Saturday night that it would start Sunday running early so that all three series could have 40-minute practice sessions instead of the usual 25-minute warm-up.

Jorge Lorenzo took pole for the MotoGP race.
