Race of Champions: Tom Kristensen and Andy Priaulx to return

Tom Kristensen and Andy Priaulx are the latest drivers to sign up for this year's Race of Champions in Bangkok

Eight-time Le Mans winner Kristensen has an impressive track record at the RoC. He finished runner-up to Sebastien Ogier in last year's grand final, and also reached the nations' final for Team Nordic.

"It was a great experience to make it to both finals last year," said the Dane.

"The Race of Champions is always fun. We see people from all types of motorsport, there's great camaraderie's and we race different cars, which is always a great challenge."

Priaulx, a triple World Touring Car champion and current DTM driver, also has a strong record, having made the semi-finals of the individual event three times and reached the nations' final twice in 2009 and 2010.

"I always enjoy the event. The atmosphere in the stadium is special and I'm looking forward to hearing the noise at the latest venue in Bangkok," he said.

"I've already been runner-up a few times in the Nations' Cup, so I hope David [Coulthard] and I can go one better at last. But we know that is a big task with such a range of legends in the field."

Both men will compete in the RoC and in the Nations' Cup event at the Rajamangala Stadium on December 14-16.

They join a star-studded list of racers including Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Jorge Lorenzo and Mick Doohan.
