Heidfeld to be Penalised after Engine Change

German Nick Heidfeld will lose ten grid positions at tomorrow's Italian Grand Prix after changing his engine following yesterday's practice.
The Jordan driver stopped on track just three minutes into the second session due to an oil leak, and he revealed today his Ford engine needed replacing, which means he will be sent to the back of the grid.
Heidfeld, who was also forced to use the spare car for his flying lap, had posted the 17th quickest time in today's qualifying.
"Obviously it was a disappointing day for me although it was clear already that I would be starting the race tomorrow ten places back because of the engine change yesterday," said Heidfeld.
"I was not able to do a quick lap in pre-qualifying as I had a gearbox problem and we were not able to rectify it before qualifying so we chose to jump in the spare car. In the circumstances, I was quite happy with the lap."
